Why Kindness?

autumn

Let’s consider the potential impact of our practice of kindness.

To give you an idea of the potential impact of our practice of peace and love, consider the work of Dr. David R. Hawkins, author of Power vs. Force and other books on human consciousness.

Dr. Hawkins developed a scale of human consciousness from 1 (basic life like an amoeba) to 1,000 (a fully realized human like Jesus Christ or Buddha).

200 is a key dividing line between lower consciousness and higher consciousness. Most of the world population (approx. 78%) is below the 200 mark and, as a result, experience tremendous pain and suffering.

Dr. Hawkins discovered that raising our consciousness has a tremendous impact on the world:

1 person at 300 (willingness) counterbalances 90,000 below 200
1 person at 500 (love) counterbalances 750,000 below 200
1 person at 600 (peace) counterbalances 10,000,000 below 200
1 person at 700 (enlightenment) counterbalances 70,000,000 below 200

When we raise our awareness and our consciousness (potentially into the range of 500-600) we have an immense impact on our world.

Let’s go for love and above.

The Hit Parade:

  • Smile
  • Show love
  • Show compassion
  • Forgive
  • Forgive again
  • Show kindness
